Paging system
Paging systems are communication systems that send brief messages to a subscriber. The messages can be text or voice. In the past, the messages typical instruct a subscriber to call certain caller numbers. In modern paging systems, news headlines, stock quotations, and other information can be sent. The communication way of paging systems is simplex; that is, messages are broadcast from paging control centre to subscribers. Paging systems vary widely in complexity and coverage area. Simple paging systems can cover several kms, or even a building, while a large paging system can provide a global coverage.
